Components of Tyre Racking

The structure of heavy-duty tyre racking is similar to pallet racking. It is composed of basic panels, beams, frames, and some other accessories. The beams can be adjusted every 50mm. Also, in the whole racking system, there is no need to use any bolts. So it can be designed according to the products.

Frame: Comprised of uprights, diagonal braces, and horizontal braces, providing a load capacity of up to 800kg for each shelf level.
Beam: Thickened beams (up to 2mm thick) provide space for placing goods. They are connected to the frame by hanging, and the beam height can be adjusted up and down in 50mm increments.
Shelf Boards: Typically, strip boards or mesh boards are used and placed on the beams to ensure stable placement of goods on the shelves.
Safety pin: Shaped like the number “7”, safety pin are set when connecting the beams to the columns, ensuring that the beams will not disengage upon external impact.
Side Panels/Side Mesh: Installed on the columns of the shelving to prevent goods from rolling or falling off.
Back Panels/Back Mesh: Installed at the rear of the shelving to prevent goods from falling off the back.
Divider Panels: Installed on the shelf boards to separate different items, making inventory management more efficient and facilitating the retrieval of goods.
Footplate: Use high-quality expansion bolts to secure the columns to the ground, fixing the shelving and preventing any deviation.

Tyre Racking Storage Conditions

For tyre racking storage, the thing that first comes into our mind is weather or environmental conditions. Secondly, whether it is stocked indoors or outdoors.

1. In dry, cold, or rainy seasons you may use different approaches to secure your tyres.
2. It is preferable to store tyres indoors because the outdoor environment can cause damage or crakes. And weather conditions impact directly tyres.
3. Car tyre racks must be stored properly away from heat, sunlight, and humidity as well. Avoid placing heat-emitting chemicals at your tyre storage workspace.
4. Its sensitive rubber material can be damaged or the color may fade if direct sunlight is applied to it.
5. More cleanliness is required in the storage area for tyres.
